Seymour Joseph Rosenthal was born and raised in the Bronx part of New York City in 1921 and was a child of the “Great Depression”. He was a self taught artist who started drawing at the age of 5 and didn’t stop until his dying year. He had a great passion and respect for the struggles of working Americans as well as a deep love of his Jewish faith, both of which are amplified in his renderings. He is survived by his beloved wife Frances, a daughter, a son, and four grandchildren. His works are in the permanent collection of various museums around the world such
