This single riders jacket was produced to gain recognition during a time when it was not well-known, and it was made without regard for cost, using lamb leather from the Impresa tannery.
Impresa is one of the world's three major tanneries, producing leather of the highest quality and rarity.
The leather used is very fine-grained, high-quality sheepskin, highly regarded and well-known worldwide. The surface (grain side) has a very fine finish, so there is almost no need for spray (pigment) processing after dyeing to cover it, resulting in a luxurious atmosphere.
