The Dake 0 model single leverage arbor press with base opening and slotted table plate applies up to 1-1/2 tons of force to facilitate installation, removal, and pressing of items. The handle can be positioned to provide a comfortable grip or to attain maximum leverage. The ram cap can be adjusted using the included 0.008"- and 0.015"-thick shims to adjust the ram forward and backward and to compensate for wear. The set screw adjusts the ram sideways. The smooth action gears enable fine control over ram movement with the lever, and the open base and slotted table plate provide support for solid objects as well as an outlet for arbors and shafts to pass through. The plate can be removed or rotated to one of its 5 openings of varying diameters depending on the requirements of the application. Two 0.52"-dia. holes are located on the base to enable bench mounting. Mounting hardware is not included.
