Approximately 2,000 of these wagons were constructed between 1924 and 1929, with the design being one of the first by GWR to feature Railway Clearing House spec brake gear. Many remained in use until the 1960s. These intricately moulded plastic wagon kits come with pin point axle wheels and bearings, 3 link couplings, and transfers. The kit is supplied with pre-coloured moulded parts, but painting can enhance the appearance. Additional parts are included to model the vehicle with modifications made to the prototypes during their operational life, where appropriate.
